hey. My problem "self healed", but I'm wondering what to look for next time. I drove about a mile to the store (engine semi-warm). When I came out, it cranked but wouldn't start. It was as if it was flooded, but it's fuel injected. I wiggled the wires and gave it a little gas. I kept trying, and eventually it started. From then on, it starts right up. Any ideas?

Clean your throttle body and Idle speed motor. All can cause intermittent no starts/start stall. Do the seafoam treatment.

Key to Run/Off 3x, THEN crank it, if it starts=bad fuel pump, leaking fuel filter, or bad FPR.

Try it next time, listen for the pump each time. Sounds like fuel pressure bled off.

Check the short rubber vacuum hose to the black box on the inner fender below the battery...fuel system condensor, it hooks to the leak detector switch. If it's dry-rotted, like mine, or just vibrated off, it won't start no matter the spark, compression, fuel to engine.

Good luck,
JR
