been drivin on my newly installed duraspark an it goes like a freakin champ! but... poor fuel mileage, i have the holley 350 carb with #58 jets and the original power valve i believe its the 8.5 correct? which my vacuum at idle is 17-18 so that power valve is the right one anyways right? so everything working properly an still poor fuel economy!

It's because its painted like the general and there for must have the gas mileage of a v8 with two people that run it through the woods like their running from the cops (oh wait they usually are).:)

I bet its because of well... IDK? maybe your carb isn't adjusted right or you have it jetted wrong?

I never could get my Holly POS to work right.
I'm now running the stock carb with the meter block mod.

The truck is running so nice.
My low end responce is extreemly crisp and I get just under 20 MPG with 30" tires and a 4 speed.

If I find a deal I'll get a non feedback 2150 from the 70s but I won't waste anymore time on that Holley 350.
Its currently sitting in the garage waiting for the sledge hammer treatment
