Im lookn for a decent campground in/around licking county (ohio). lookn for someplace with elec hook up, but has somewhat private spots. I hate those typ places that are like a department store parking lot where you could fling a nose burger at the guy camping next too u. those "end of the cul-de-sac" spots are great, but the couple we've checked out so far doesnt have spots like that. SOMEHOW we lucked out when we went to tar hollow a cpl weeks ago. the place was crammed but we managed to find a gem in the rough. thanx
 
Not around Licking Co. but in Scioto Co Shawnee campgrounds a fairly private with electrical hookups. Just sayin.

They do have their campsites close together, but depending on the day you are there, you might be able to get something away from everyone.

I have never had any problems with KOA's. they do a good job of keeping the place clean and they won't tolerate shitheads that make a bunch of noise and party into the wee hours of the morning and keep their neighbors awake.

Koa's are great.

We stayed with them exclusively the entire way to Seattle and back (Hunh. that trip was a year ago to the day...). This time of year is their slow time, and you can usually get great prices, especially during the week as a result.
