Hey all, I'm new here. I'm upgrading my 2.8 with a little more performance. I heard that you can put the larger valves from the 2.9 in the 2.8 heads. Is this possible without too much hassle and is there anything I need to look out for?

It is possible and many Ranger guys have done it. No more work, I wouldn't think than redoing the heads with the stock valves, as long the 2.9 valves are the same length. If they are taller or shorter then you would need to look at different springs, at least. But I don't think that is the case.
