Hi I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4 automatic with a bad shift cable and wanted to know how to replace the cable sense the Haynes manual is not much help. Was wondering if someone could give some more model specific info, also would anyone happen to know the part # by chance? Its broken right where it connects to the shift lever on the trans cables still there just the plastic tube is snapped in half causing it to jam when trying to shift. Any help would be great thanks
