What the heck is up with the start up?

As of today anytime I launch the internet the rangerstation video starts playing and I get the audio. With Internet explorer version what ever I have it opens 6 tabs all at once, one being TRS. How do I make it so that video doesn't start each time and I don't have to listen to it?

It starts when I open the page too (must be a new thing) but I just pause it..I've already watched it four times haha
 
I don't want to have to pause it each time. I want it gone. I want to know how to stop it from doing that.
 
its doing it to me too... this is the first time i've been on since last night, and last time i was on, it didn't start it's self
 
Scared the shit out of me. I had my speakers up loud from my music but I had it paused at the moment. Then all the sudden VROOOOOOOM!!!

Use Firefox. Seriously.
 
Why firefox?

Who altered the website so that video starts each time and can they turn it off. If I want to watch the videos I'll turn them on myself.
 
I updated the main index page and changed the video. I'll go in later and change the coding so it won't keep playing. I figured most of the 'regulars' didn't even visit that page.
 
Mine just goes there everytime I start the computer. I don't know how to make it do anything else. I hate computers.
 
i use that page cause i like the top ten list (or 15, whatever it is)

and you should definitely use firefox... IE is lame

A whole lot of reasons, but the one at hand is that videos ALL come up as a big "play" button.

It's also 1/10 the weight of IE. It has MANY fewer bugs. And Firefox 3 has some very interesting plugins/extensions.
 
Maybe I'll give it a try. I've always used IE because I've always used IE. I hate change especially with these smoke and mirror machines
 
actually MAKG, I'm running firefox (newest version) and the video autoplays on the homepage, and I have the TRS page as my home as well so its playing every time I up firefox.

PS: Capt Jay, I highly recommend Firefox, just give it a couple days to adjust to using it.
