I've been working double time to get this truck perfect.
Its a 98 4x4 with a 3.0. I just replaced everything from the block up and put 31's on it.
It runs pretty much perfectly...
However, put her on the expressway today...and in 4th gear...if you floored it(or even half floored it)...it would only barely accelerate...and at about 70MPH it would "skip" a beat here and there...not enough to make me think its a trans problem or even the clutch...just "jerk" like the engine cut out for a second... It only does this at about that speed or perhaps that location...never through the gears or rpm range on backroads. Then again I dont quite get to that speed on backroads either.
I'm open to ideas. I think i've replaced EVERYTHING at this point, though.
