i just bought a 04 ranger and was going to replace the factory radio.
apon taking out the radio i noticed that the wireing uses a difrent plug than the 03 model i got at walmart. the 03 package has two flat plugs in it and the 04 radio uses one square plug . does anyone know were besides crutchfield can i get the new adaptor? i really don't want to destroy the factory wireing on this truck..
thanks in advance:icon_cheers:

Check a Best Buy or Circuit City with an installation garage. They should have it.

By the way, what is the radio you are replacing. I am looking for a newer AM/FM/CD player to put in my '95.

Wouldn't hurt to check locally, but they might be pricey. One can be had from Replacement Radios for under $200.00 if you want to stay with a factory unit. Good luck.
