Hi guys. I am preparing to rebuild all the suspension on my '93 XLT 4 cylinder. (I am going with all black poly bushings.) I figured it would be a good time to put new springs front and back as well.
For the front I am wondering if I can get some stiffer springs. I am not looking to lift or lower the truck, I just want a thicker spring. Also, I would prefer to buy new ones rather than going to a junkyard.
I found what I think is a decent deal on new leaf springs at www.generalspringkc.com. Does anyone know what the factory load rating for my springs are? I would like to get a set that is a little better than stock but the thickest one in the link might be overkill.
Thanks in advance.
