Stumbles when I blurp the gas pedal really quick

My '98 with the 2.5 will stumble when i hit the gas really quick, like when i am just sitting in the driveway and I do it while its ideling. What does this trace to?

no problem

mine does it as well i dont think its a big deal i got the 2.3 5 speed man and if im just idleing and i juice it real quick it does stutter a tad at first, and my buddys 4.0 does the same thing, its no problem really, i dont know why it does it but w/e thats life

Have you checked for slack in the cable? you would notice some lack of response in every situation, but it might be worth checking out...there is a thread on how to correct this if that is the problem (I know, some people don't believe in doing this, but it worked on my truck)...
