Has anyone put leaf springs from a full size bronco in a ranger?
I know they are 3" wide and the ranger is 2.5" wide.
I have the springs and all the proper brackets and was thinking about trying it.

Proper brackets as in the F150 brackets? The frame offset is different so you'll have to move your spring perches on the axle to suit the new spring centers.
 
i have had a set of springs from a 79 bronco that lifted it about 4". so over the weekend i went to the junk yard and got hangers and shackels from a bronco. im trying to get rid of the blocks i have lifting the rear of the truck and one of the factory hangers needs replaced anyways.
