(I'm new here, hoping I get this post in the right place!)
The silver/gray rubbery coating that covers the radio bezel (mine's an '03) has a small "peely spot" above the volume control knob. I'm thinking I must bump it and caused it to begin to peel. Does anyone know how to remove all this coating and then prep the bezel for spray can? I figure I should use PlastiKote paint, but I don't want to start trying to peel that stuff off and then it doesn't come off completely and looks like crap.

I just went to a wrecker and got my self a black one from a Ranger/Exploder, solved the paint problem

I repainted my radio bezel and to remove the coating I just used fine grit sandpaper. Its a slow process but not too bad. Once the coating is completely removed, Get some Duplicolor Adhesion promoter, then shot it with some primer and sanded it. After that I used Duplicolor's Metalcast Ground Coat and hit it a couple times with that till I was satisfied with the coverage. Once fully dried ,Hit it with some of the duplicolor clear coat.
