Things to finish:
-Straighten out drivers side bedside
-Finish fitting and welding the new floor
-Get the tailgate to work
-Work on a better, removable flap system.

I only have one wheeling trip on it and already love it, so much extra clearance behind you...

truck looks awsome man. Ill have to come up and go hit the trails sometime soon.

but basically i cut right outside the pinch weld on both sides, and bent it in till the tailgate jam touched the frame...there was some other stuff to cut out of the way but thats the basic idea of it...

think it looks cool but have a question; whats the purpose of dovetailing the bed? I know you said something about clearance....

a lot of the trail around here are tight, the dovetail allows you to get up real close to things rocks/trees, etc without worrying about busting up the back of the truck...its pretty cool you can look out the rear view mirrors and see EVERYTHING thats behind you...

another poser shot
