Nissan Xterra

A guy I wheeled with once had one. It was a great rig, but the guy was an asshole.

Electric lockers are offered from the factory.

No but i drive them almost daily at work and fully reccomend them. My neighbor has one as well with a 2" lift and 32s and he has still after 2 years never needed 4 wheel drive. But also look at the pathfinder. I personally prefer the Pathfinder because its a tank. me and a buddy went in on an old one for 300 bucks just as a rig to jump and trash. we still havent killed it yet 4 years later. its been rolled, jumped, swamped, and won the toughtruck event for two years in a row. and we still havent changed the oil yet. just add a quart occasionally.

I looked at other suv's on Friday.I started out looking at a few used Chevy Trailblazers and a Jeep Commander. The Chevy's while only 3 yrs old were already rusting at the seams. The Jeep was only 1 yr old buy just didn't give me the warm and fuzzy feeling on ownership. So I went to the local Nissan stealership and looked at both the Pathfinder and Xterra. Both share the same powertrain and interiors. The Pathfinder has the the better ride due to the longer wheelbase, but not by much. They both get the same 18mpg combined,Not great but really bad for a suv.Now I just have to get rid of 3 vehicles, sadly that means the ranger:bawling:sniffle sniffle

Are we talking brand new vehicles? Because I think pathfinders are now equipped with IRS, and the XTerras are slightly larger now.

My boss had a 2 wheel drive Xterra with a stick, and that thing was unstoppable. He even pulled out a stuck truck once with it. Great vehicles overall.
