I have a 97 Ford ranger 4x4 with a 4.0 I have been running e-85 all summer in the thing. No problems went from 20-21 hwy to about 17-18 hwy rest about the same.
Today I pulled up to the pump for my E-85 $2.69 gal and the attendant came out and told me EPA said he was not allowed to turn pump on for a vehicle not specifically rated to run e-85. One alchol burns cleaner than gas why the hell are they involved. Is there a tax I don't know about, I mean it has to be money. let's talk out of both sides of our mouth convert and conserve but make it illegal if you do. I love this country but how long before its just another european socialist government. Why did we go to war, when it really just seems to be internal issues.:bawling:
OK I feel better nuff crying guess I will write my senator and flame the white house again.

Writing your senator is a good idea and also you’re state's Department of Motor Vehicles. What station was this if you don’t mind me asking? The price of E85 is only 2.69 right now, that’s a big difference from E10 or straight gasoline.
