Hey guys. I don't really have a lot to think of in the middle of the night, so I decided to see what others are thinking of when they're not allowed to sleep at work too. I was looking for a name for my truck, so I thought I'd ask you guys if you name your vehicles and what the names are. My wife has a 2007 Ford Edge and she named it "Tink" go figure. My first ranger was a black 2000 4x4 and I named her "Beccah", I had to get rid of her a few years ago, and I'm having trouble thinking of a name for my new baby (a sonic blue 2003 FX4 Level II). So let me know if you guys name your vehicles and what they are.
 
had a 91 exploder sport named big red, then got a 91 xlt, called it bigger red, had a pos bronco at the same time, called that buggered red. As you can guess, they were all red! :D
 
When I miss her and when she behaves, "Baby" or "Girl." When she is being naughty, it's "Stupid F****** Piece of S***!" Not spectacular. Nothing else really caught on...
 
Had an 81 Plymouth Tourismo named "Salty" , a 78 Dodge 150 named "The War Wagon" and a 04 Subaru Impreza named "Blubaru". I don't name all my cars, it just seems that some cars deserve a name, And then I don't pick a name they just come naturally.

My dads:

"Baby" 79 F-150 Custom (62k original miles, mint condition)

"Ol Blue" 89 F-350 Custom (dually dump)

"Blue" 94 F-350 XL (dually dump)


Now I told you that to tell you another story... I tried for a couple months after I got my Ranger to pick out a name, then one day I said something to dad and after he looked at my lil Ranger sittin next to his dump trucks, he called my Ranger "lil Blue" because it was smaller than his. Well, it stuck....

Mine:

"lil Blue" 00 Ranger xlt

"S**tbrick" 88 Bronco II Eddie Bauer (it was a pos and rode like a styrofoam brick on a whip antenna, thus the name)

"Phoenix" 86 Bronco II xl (I intend for it to rise again)

Still need to pick a name for my choptop....

my first ranger 1987 ext. cab black michigan sesqucentennial (sp.?) edition with woodgrain interior. its name was F***ing piece of S**t! every weekend i was feeding it parts until the trans crossmember finally rotted off and i rigged it and put it up for sale. wish i hadnt becuase that was 5 years ago and i always used to see it driving around. the body was performing advanced weight loss surgery on its self, but that 2.9l just wouldnt say die! my second ranger unfortunately didnt get a name until it was too late. i called it horse killer beacuse thats what it did. my current ride 1990 ranger std. cab long bed 2wd, same as horse killer, is the rescue vehicle so to speak. when i was in college i took a few medical classes so that in the event of an accident, which with my friends is not a matter of if it happens but when and how far away from help we will be. i decided to make this ranger the rescue vehicle with straps, lights, good tow points, a full set of tools, and of course a sweet ass first aid kit. i call this truck Rescue Ranger and it has definately done its share of rescues. im currently rebuilding/ restoring a 94 ext. cab 2wd and trying to find its personality. i havent found it yet, but it will come to me..........:rolleyes:

My ranger's name depends on who is talking about it. My kids call it chittychittybangbang or the wife"that piece of shit".Either way I know
 
the bronco II is called Frankenstein,(so many years/parts not build 4 it), or POS(when im mad at it), the f150 is a 4wd wanna be, and i got to hang my blue balls back on it, so i really don't know what to called it.

and my honda shadow, just call it the shadow, for obvious reasons
