Does anyone know anything about converting from a 12" rotor to a 11.25 rotor ?

Trying to install an 5" lift on a 07 ranger sport 4wd and i was told i had to revert my rotors to the 11.25". The manual says i have the 11.25" rotors but everyone i talk to says i have the 12". Any ideas guys?
 
Which manual? You have a Ford shop manual? IIRC, they switched to the larger rotors for 2003
 
how bout measure them and not rely on books
