Does anyone know were you can get a replacement PCV canister. I believe that is what it is its the semi egg shaped cannister that press fits into the block right behind the Distributor. Then it has a hose that routes up to the upper intake. I've asked several parts stores and they keep giving me the same old generic pcv setup that you'd use on a valve cover with the rubber grommet. One parts guy claimed I had a late 87 motor in my 88 Ranger? I don't think there's any difference between an 87-89 2.3L.:dntknw: Thanks

I believe what you are talking about is just an oil separator? Why do you need a new one? It just has baffles inside of it to kick down some of the misted oil before it passes through the pcv valve.

Thanks that makes sense. It has been removed so many times it's pretty loose now. I guess I could try and expand it out again with a large punch.
Thanks again
