I have a 1990 Ranger 4x4 with RABS. When I apply the brake pedal at high speed I can feel it pulsing when it shouldn't be. I have completely redone the front and rear brakes along with a new master cylinder and rear abs valve. I have also cleaned the abs sensor. What could be happening? Any impute would be much appreciated. Thanks
 
Are the front rotors new?

Is it an ABS pulse or warped rotors kinda pulsing?
 
I suspect warped rotors... Or possibly even loose spindle nuts...
 
This may sound unusual, have you had your tires rotated lately? A oddly-worn (unbalanced for long period of time) tire can magnify warped rotor issues when applying brakes. I had this issue a few months ago after a tire rotation, later figured out it was a tire that had worn unevenly.
 
well from all the older rangers that i have drove with the rear abs.. u can hardly notice them when they are engaged.... so sounds like u have warped front rotors .. of a loose spindle nut...
 
yes, I disconnected the electrical plugs to the abs system and it still does it so it must be the rotors. thanks!
