i need a transmission for my 85 ranger and i was wondering if a 2.3 liter 4x4 will hook up to my 2.9liter. i just put the motor in its a brand new jasper 2.9l but used the old tranny like an idiot and tore it out hill climbing. just need to know if the 2.3 tranny will work thanks!
