When I have the truck in drive going downhill and downshift to 2nd the trans will downshift and the engine will tach up. When I shift from 2nd to 1st the trans seems to just let go and the engine tachs down to idle. if im stopped and i put the truck in 1st and take off down a hill, i pick up more and more speed. I can coast 50+ miles an hour in 1st gear and the engine is just sitting at idle. If i am going say 30 and shift up to 2nd it will engage 2nd and the engine tachs up. I have no idea why and it its kind of annoying especially when in the woods. anyone have an idea? thanks.
