Transmisison and rear end fluid.

Hey guys, I was wondering what type of fluid you use the transmission and rear end in a 1988 Ford Ranger 2.0 5-speed. I'm assuming just 80W (its an open rear, so no friction modifier) for the rear end. I'm not sure on the tranny, I'm putting in the new U-joints tommorrow and I need to change the fluid in the tranny and rear end too. If you know the torque for the bolts on the rear end and fluid quantities for each that would be great. Thanks.
 
Rear end, 80W-90,


Tranny, 80W-90 if the transmission has a pan on the bottom.
Mercon V ATF if its a M50D (aluminum housing with no pan.)


Just under 3 quarts of ATF for the M5OD.

IDK how much oil for the other trannys.

I believe 2-3 quarts for the axle.

Pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual as they will have the torque and fluid capacity specs for you aswell.
