Last night coming home towing a sammy on a dolly it sounded like I poped out of 5th. I then pulled over to see whats going on. It was stiff pulling it out of 5th, but when I did get it out of gear it was really still in some gear (i think 5th) I had to put it in 4 low to the next truck stop where I played around with it for a bit getting it into 1st then to 4th. When we got home i could get in in all the gears 70% of the time. Now taking of some times it wanted to bind up and then go with no more problems.
Has any one ever seen something like this?? Do people run the 2.9 on a 4L? My buddy keeps talking about it. I have seen 4L clutchs on 2.9's but that was it.
