Gonna do a V8 conversion cause I got a good donor vehicle for most parts and I am gonna try to recycle alot of the stuff from it for this...

This one was just taken off the road cause we kept hearing noise like a cracked flywheel from it....When i got it on the lift I found this....

Only two bolts were holding the transmission in...I think it happened wheen I uprooted a stump with the truck...

At any rate I'm stealing the engine, frt.springs, knuckles, tires and rear carrier out of it...

Looks like a wicked project man, have fun!!
Is that a ruined AOD? that sucks, cause the bellhouseing and trans body are one piece. If you run another AOD in besure to keep that ruined one for parts!

I'm gonna try to do the whole T-5 swap thing...just rying to figure up the T/case adapter situation at the moment....

your killing me with that t-top coupe and that 82

Like that do ya!?..I kinda have a backyard mustang performance business, the coupe is a customers car and it was actually a solid roof car that someone decided to convert, They did it the right way though and grafted the roof from another car to accomplsh the job...The GT is my wife's car....It's got a explorer longblock With a "F"cam in it right now waiting for me to finish the EFI swap I'm doing....

Ok, got what I wanted off the fullsize this evening....Hauling it to the crusher tomorrow

Gonna part the rest of it out to get a little money together for the misc. stuff....

Anyone know where I can find the lift brackets by theirselves on the internet?

Wow!!! has it realy been a year...? I am an Asshole aren't I..For those that may even remember this..
Starting the Project up again..I lost my donor truck about 5 months ago but just hooked another one the other day..This one is a extended cab model with a good 4.0 so I'm using it instead..Unfortunately it's not a M5OD/1354 like the the other one was But still has a 35 front..Pics tomorrow..

You freaking asshole i've been waiting on this thread for a year now you sir owe me one year of mindless browsing.

Ok for making me wait a year you need to ship that t-top to Tempe Az 85202. and then I will say we a even.

Old lady gave up on her project...we ran short of money and she chose to sell it (stupid women...food is a crutch) so the 82" is gone...owner came and picked up the T-top..

But I got more!!!

Here's my new Donor...extended cab that was rolled in a field one night after a pparently a pretty sweet bonfire..
