Ive got a 99 that I am doing a sas on. It has the rack steering setup so of course i have to change to a box. I bought a 93 ranger box but need some help figuring out how im gonna mount it. I am doing a front and rear leaf setup with wagoneer 44s. Pics or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you need a box that bolts to the outside of the frame for a 98 and up SAS.

Toyota IFS box ('86-'94) is probably the easiest swap, yes.

I've heard of people using the Ford boxes though, you just have to figure out how to space it off the frame so the body on it clears.

Will I be able to hook the ranger pump up to the yota box? and do you have to do anything special to modify the steering shaft to run it on the outside?
