ok i was on a mission trip this past week and one of the houses we worked on had an old 1st gen ranger, and i talked to the guy about it and he told me it ran, and that he'd give it to me for $200 it has a 4 cyl, manual trans, 2wd long bed, and i am debating whether or not i should get it, and if i do get it that would make 3 rangers and im not real sure about it any imput would be helpful

That sounds like a great deal, is the body in good shape? Could be one of those wheeler projects where you just build on it at your leisure. Then again a long bed may be too long for that - never built one, but have considered it . . .
If you don't go for it shoot me a PM, I am thinking of getting an older Ranger to play with on the side.

pssst - don't tell my 95 she might get jealous - LOL.

First gens are sweet I would get it, they are starting to get scare so for 200 bucks I'd jump on it. Worst case scenario you scrap it and make your money back.
