so i have an 03 ranger and it will not steer straight it tends to veer to the right and i have to keep my steering wheel cocked to the right i did a front end alighnment on it and it didnt help i think my tie rod ends or ball joints maybe out. does any one know what might be wrong or how to fix it

Start by checking your tire pressures.

Then buy a Chilton or Haynes manual available at most auto parts stores.

How long ago did you have the alignment done? If it kept pulling to the right and your steering wheel was off center immediately after you got it back, take it back to them and tell them to do it right.

your tires could also make it pull try moving the tires from one side to the other and to the rear and see if it changes

I agree with metalmacguyver.

If the steering wheel has to be cocked to keep it straight, and it was just aligned, then obviously they didn't straighten the wheel when adjusting toe.

Also another thought.....was it just a toe and go alignment? Did they check camber and caster? An off camber or caster can cause a pull.

i have changed tires rotated tires and i did the alignment at my school my self and it was the toe i fixed it i figure a part in the suspension is worn out it also gets a little bump steer
