All,
I have a 95 Ranger 2WD with a 2.3 engine that is just about done. The gas milage is great, but power is really lacking. I tow boats from time to time and it really struggles pulling up the ramp. Any recommendations on an engine swap that would give me the most benifit without considerable cuttting and splicing. I currently have a 5 speed and would like to consider putting an automatic in, my wife's pretty hard on clutchs. I was considering a 4.0, any thoughts? Appreciate any help/advice you have to offer
