You replace the entire upper control arm assembly, the joint itself is not removable.

The ball joint does come out, but the time and money spent to get it out. Makes it a lot easier to just replace the upper arm.
But it can be done, and if you do replace the joint, go with MOOG I ave heard nothing but good from them.
