Hey i was wondering if anybody has tried the 69$ slr chip. i have a 97 ranger 2.3L 2WD and need more power to turn my 31s up steeps. DOES IT WORK?
 
Haven't heard of it. How does it hook up? If it hooks up under the hood, RUN, FOREST RUN, as it is probably one of those resistor deals worth 25c.

If it connects up to the engine's PCM circuit board and you need the 4 character box code to order it, then it may be worth the dough.
