Did Ford ever make a 4 cylinder 4x4 ranger?
 
yup
 
im not exactly sure, i would guess they started late 80's or early 90's and ended probably around 97. ive never owned one but they do talk about them here on TRS from time to time. other members will know more than i do.
 
i know it was 84- 92 for sure, might have been a bit longer. I have a 86 with a 2.3 and 4x4 and know and drove up to a 92 with the 2.3 in it.
 
95-97 they had them as well.. reg cab long box. theirs one at our junkyard. 4.10s hum...
 
93' 4cyl 4x4 here!

Think they ended it in 97.
 
I have an '84 short bed 4X4 with an '88 turbo coupe engine. It's fun to drive.
 
Get a 90-92, it'll have a non hybrid 4.10 d35 (unless someone like me took it :D).

i had one, but it wasn't ford..may she rest in peace..
 
JohnnyU had one.......may still have parts from it.
