I am stumped:icon_confused: The other day I used my 4wd down by the river behind my girlfriends house. I unlocked it no problems and went to work the next day. Well when I left work I could immediatly feel a vibration comming from underneath my truck. It felt as if something was shaking loose. I check to make sure my 4wd was all disconnected and the hubs were unlocked, which they all were. So i limped it home and this morning i went and looked around for a closer look. Everything seems to be tight and nothing looks loose.

I checked for Wheel Bearing play and nothing was out of the ordinary. So here is where I am stumped. This is a strong vibration but it does not effect the driveability whatso ever of my truck. it accellerates fine, brakes fine, has no abnormal play in the stearing or anything that would remotely suggest something is wrong with the suspension or wheels. However driving straight on any road above 22mph gives this ratteling sound and feel that is gonna drive me nuts.

I have no idea what else to check. Worse, its 4th of JULY!!!

Thanks for any help.

Keith

Have you checked U-joints? Or possibly mud caked in one of your wheels?
