a couple fm145 questions

ok i am putting an fm145 in my 88 ranger 2.9 liter that originally had an a4ld
first question is the plug on the top of the tranny is for the neutral switch right??

second question what wires do i need to connect for the clutch neutral safety switch. i have a red with a yellow stripe, red with a blue stripe, yellow with and orange or red stripe, 2 blacks with a pink stripe, can anyone tell me which one of these are for the neutral safety switch its an 88 ranger

My guess would be one of the red's is the TC lock up. The other Red and the yellow one would be the NSS and the two blacks would be the reverse lights. Hook the two blacks up with the key on and see if your reverse lights work then try the yellow and a red for startup if it dont work try the other red. If that dont work try the two red's. RB
