i have a 91 ranger with the typical speaker whine. i have read that it is due to interference from the in tank fuel pump. the whinning happens even when the key is in accessory mode and only while playing tapes (oldschool haha). it says on the 'Known Problem Areas' page that an electronic noise filter for the fuel pump will fix it. what i want to know is how would you go about installing that or where would you buy it. second is if i installed an aftermarket stereo, which i do have, would it stop the buzzing, it seems like its only interfereing with the tape deck so i dunno. any helpful ideas would be appreciated
