Tilt Wheel Conversion Questions

I want tilt wheel on my '93 Ranger, what Ford/ Mazda can I get this steering column from? I almost pulled one from a '92 Mazda Navajo but wanted to make sure. I can mod anything but whats a direct drop in? -thanks

93 rangers still had that boxy dash style. I believe that exploders/navajos did too. So it SHOULD, bolt up.

Hope fully some one else will chime in that knows for sure.

'93 Ranger?

any Tilt column from
a)Ranger '89-94
b)Explorer '91-94
c)Navajo '93-94
d)Mazda B-series truck '93-94
e)Bronco2 '89-90

ALL Ranger based vehicles with tilt clumns were factory equipped with
cruise control. that means there will be a difference in the wiring connector
for the horn circuit.

Great info on swaping for a tilt wheel. I too, have a 93 with no tilt and had one more question for this old thread. What all would you have to swap? The whole steering column, plastic and all? Just un-bolt from the steering box and switch one for the other? Level of difficulty with this? Thanks.

Unbolt inside the engine compartment, there is no need to replace the
steering intermediate shaft (which connects the column to the box)
