I have seen this on many other Ranger models, and I would like to fix it on my truck. The bed is level with the back window, but crooked at the tailgate. What is the most likely problem it could be? Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the Rangers around also lean?

the bed has no bushings, but a spring or the frame is the most likely(its the bent frame on my truck anyway)

Mine did not sit level new. I didn't worry about it til I lowered the truck and was rubbing on the one side only. I unbolted the bed and slid a couple of washers under the one side until all the body lines matched up. Many people have noticed this on the Rangers, it rather common.

Most probable cause is a bent frame. Take that for what it's worth, and fix it accordingly. Some may choose to fix it the right way and straighten the frame, some may choose to shim it. It's really up to you.

Another thing it could be is the little rubber bushing that keeps the tailgate from rattling, which is in the hinge on one side. I know mine is worn out from washboards and such, and it makes just the tailgate lean to one side.
