trans leak

i gota 93 4.0 5 speed and its leaking at the end of the trans near the drain plug, i dont think its the drain plug leaking but it could be where the trans meets the transfer case, has anyone had a similar problem, if so what should i do to eliminate this crrrap

Most likely its the rubber plugs at the back of the shifter housing. They tend to dry up and leak ATF everywhere.

Just keep an eye on the fluid, and next time you have to drop the tranny, replace them.

ya i think my tranny is doing the same thing i have a 94 b3000 5 speed and the tranny is leaking fluid at the end but its coming from the top could it be the same problem the rubber plug at the shifter housing?
