1991 ranger ext cab with an A4LD 4x4 with column shift my question is, is it possible to convert it to floor shift, i think it should be. im looking in my haynes manual and the difference is a bellcrank assembly that is tied into the frame and extends to the transmission, i think this is the only part that is different. there is 2 shift rods on the bellcrank assembly, one from the shifter itselfto the bellcrank assembly then from the bellcrank assembly to the lever that actually shifts the tranny if i could steal this off a donor truck i think it might work waht do you guys think

Your trans has no "Bellcrank" regardless of what is shown in a Haynes manual.

it has a cable shifter.
the earlier rangers with a floor shifter used a different shift "arm" on the side of the trans and it's impractical tro convert.

Floor shifted automatic transmissions belong in vehicles belonging to people
who have fantasies about driving a stick.

If you really want a shifter on the floor swap in a manual trans.
