ok my dad thinks that the brake lines are going to have to be replaced and that the fans not going to work and hit could someone explain to him how this all works
can someone explain to my dad how a body lift works

Brake lines will work fine, the fan shroud will need modified or moved though. I cut the part off that goes around the bottom of the fan, you can also move the shroud down or move the whole radiator down depending on how in depth you want to go.
My little 2.8 still runs 190 degrees on the nose, so it doesn't seem to have effected my cooling much if at all.

I bought a body lift kit and it came with brackets that move the radiator and the fan down 3in. Your brake lines will be fine but you might want a steering column extension but that all depends on how far you steering column telescopes.

a body lift, lifts the body off the frame, no brake line ajustment needed, just shifter extension, lower rade, or cut shroud, and MAYBE steering extending, not much to it, now if you went with a susp...lift then you would have to extend the brake lines.

That and your fuel filler hose might need extending.
