Brakes squeaking

My brakes squeak when driving but when i apply pressure to them the noise stops. What do i need to do to fix this??

Likely new pads. Possibly new rotors depending on the condition of them.

Pick up a Chilton or Haynes manual at the auto parts store. It will help you through it.
