Yep, did it last night at my buddies. Bought the roll bar off craigslist way up in the mountains. She took $120 for it and it had nice Fox lights all wired up and all on it. Her husband said they are better than KC, but I do know they sure light the fu'k up. She said the roll bar came out of a ranger. I'm pretty sure an STX ranger. It fit right in. Just had to drill a few holes in the bed. It's got a ford sticker on it. From my earlier thread about liftin' my truck, well I had the rear lifted with blocks, I ditched the blocks and ordered brand new leafs from Skyjacker. Also my stering angles were pretty sharp so I had to order the extreme drop pitman arm, and that sure helped. The stering angles are like they were stock. It pissed me off though cuz SJ don't send the right pitman arm in thier kit, so you have to spend another $200. Now all I got to do is put decent exhaust system on it to make it sound decent, and I'll be good.

Here is a pic of the stock pitman arm, then the one Skyjacker puts in thier kit, and then the extreme drop one.

Steering angles with sh1tty drop pitman arm that came with the kit.:temper:

I got the pitman arm from autopartsway.com the cheapest I found. It was like $175 with free shipping.

Oh I'll have some wheelin' and muddin' pics soon. I can't wait till it snows. I hope this winter is a bad winter. I'm thinkin' of gettin a whole seperate set of wheels and tires just for wheelin'. I'm prolly gonna get boggers.

That pitman arm sure does dwarf the other two lol

Looks good :icon_thumby:

That rollbar looks like the "Rally Bar" that was originally a dealer accessory.

How's your rear shackle angle though? Might be time for some extended ones there from what I can see (is the full weight on the suspension?).

Ya I know for sure the roll bar is from Ford cuz it has a Ford sticker on the bottom.

I had to losen the rear shackle or bracket thing to make it fit, then tighten it all back up.

Also it was the first night takin' it out since the lift. Went through the mud bog by my house. It was all green and alge on the top and frogs in it. I first did it in 4 wd like nothin' than I tried it sideways and kept tryin' to get out going back and forth finaly I had to be pulled out. Then I went through it in 2WD. That thing does amazing with that limited slip in the rear it made it through in 2wd.
