I assume your referring to a 00+ supercab driveshaft? Based upon the fact that your truck is a 97, the only thing that should be different is the rear T-case output having a larger diameter flange (3" instead of 2.5"). Go to the junkyard and get a 3" output shaft out of a newer 00+ truck and swap it in. I got lucky and found a driveshaft out of a 98 supercab. It had the smaller 2.5" t-case output and was a direct bolt in besides grinding out the carrier bearing bracket.
