ok i got new coils for my ranger. they are 8 inch lift coils and my truck and i have 4 inch coils on there now but also have an inch and half spacer so its really a 5.5 lift in the front. My question is is it any way possible to use the 4 inch lift brackets with the 8" coils???

No, you won't be able to go more than about 2" more than your brackets are made for. Steering would be fawkin scary with 8"s of lift on TTB anyways.

If you have Skyjacker lift brackets , you could put the radius arm pivots to the 6 inch holes then I think the 8" coils will work.

And yes, the steering will be an issue.

ya i am going with the 6" lift and probably going to stick in the 8" coils than again i think ill just save the coils for A solid axle swap.

if you have 4'' lift brackets you can us 6'' lift coils, if you have a 6'' lift kit you can use the 8'' lift coils. like SK brackets come with 2 holes on the pivet bracket you would want to use the bottom hole with the 8'' lift coils. but no you cant use them with your kit. you can buy the two front brackets from SK.

You DONT want TTB coils for a solid axle, they're waaay too stiff.

so these coils are worthless?

edit: i can use them did some research and steering won't be too bad and i can still align my truck in specs

I ran 6" brackets with 6" TTB coils and 1.5" thick spacers and it worked out fine. The coils I had were superlifts and didn't flex for shit to begin with, so the steering worked out alright. I had the extreme drop pitman arm though from skyjacker so that probably helped a little bit too. I would definitley reccommend when it's all said and done though to go and get an alignment.

if ur gonna git rid or ur 4 in lift coils i want them
