My credo
A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
... to screw onto those old-style squatty wide-mouth 80W-90 gear oil bottles, whereas the ATF I need to pump is, per usual, in motor oil type bottles--not compatible. The hard tubeless intake is also unsuitable for out-pumping front diff, etc.

ANYWAY, what kind of approx. 1/2" I.D. (big!) tubing can I jam on the intake end of this thing to make it useful? Tranny cooler line seems overkill and/or not easy to work with. The output end comes with some really thin-wall clear flexible tubing, which I assume is resistant to gear oil, at least. What is that called, and where to get?

Thanks in advance

I use a piece of 3/8" fuel hose on mine. Works good (almost don't need a clamp or anything on it if you're careful not to pull on it)

Edit:

I think it's 3/8"... it might be 5/16" not sure

That's usually thick-wall, and I'm thinking with an I.D. of 1/2", it might not fit in the fill holes...? Or won't bend downwards to bottom once in fill hole...

I guess it's only short-term ATF and gear oil exposure, so low-quality tubing should do it... like that crap that used to come on those cheap accordian type fuel siphons... maybe Tru-Value h/w store... hmmm...

I was able to get it down into the front diff on my Ranger (it did take a bit of fidgeting with it though)
