ok i have gathered just about everything i need except the driveshafts but if i just get the driveshafts out of an 87 ranger with the fm145 those will work correct?

second questions is does the mount for the transmission change if so what do i have to do to make it work

Thanks
Jeff

Read the sticky at the top of the forum.

I advise against ever retrofitting any RBV with an FM145.

A buddy of mine has a FM-146 for sale. It works perfectly. He just went with a M50D.

I agree with above, don't ever go backwards.

well i got everything for a decent price and ive been threw 2 a4lds and im sick of putting those in so i figure the fm145 might have a better chance the the auto trannys if this one goes ill at least have everyting set up for a manual so then ill pick up a fm146 or whatever

and my main question in the sticky does anyone have a better way of explaining exactly what i have to do with the crossmember for the tranny??
