I first cranked my torsion bars about 3 years ago and have made some adjustments here and there since then. Now my drivers side is almost maxed out and this is how it sits.
Torsion Crank Question

I know this doesn't look bad, but for being almost maxed my A-arms seem pretty level. Any advice?

In all honesty, there are no worthwhile upgrades that can be done to the torsion-bar IFS. If you want a few more inches, there are aftermarket keys that are indexed differently, but that's really not a "proper" fix.

If I were you, I'd find a Ford D60 and swap in under there. I suppose a D44 would work as well, but I'm more of the "do it once, do it right" kind of guy.

Ill get to that point some day, maybe after college, but not now. I'm more asking why are my A-arms almost level after all that cranking?

Looks like the tbars have had it, my 05 sport track is only cranked an inch and they lowers have more angle to them than that. Might be time to look into new bars. Or on the cheep you could get the longer adjuster bolts.

Agreed, t-bars are probably sagged out and done.

BTW, where it is is actually about the perfect ride height for longevity of the suspension components (balljoints, etc.) and CV shafts. I'd probably leave it alone unless of course it winds up sagging down even lower.

Is it common for them to ware out after only like 50k? are explorer T-bars interchangeable? would ones from a u-pull be worth it or would they likely be pretty worn too?
