98 4.0 4x4 could some body give me a # for a k&n air filter to put on my mas after i remove air box it looks like there is not a whole lot of room & i quess the same 4 hole adapter that works for mustang & t bird mas will work on ranger ?????????

Don't know the part number, but aside from no improvement in filtration and 'real' airflow and an increase in noise, you'll not really gain anything and unless you build a box around it to keep underhood air out of it, you'll actually lose performance.

I hate to disagree with you Bird, but you forgot a couple of advantages the K&N has over the OEM paper filter! The K&N will pass more dirt and oil than
the OEM paper filter!! :taunt:
