2002 3.0 to 4.0 swap

Am considering swapping my 3.0 for a 4.0 in a 2002 Ranger Edge 2WD, If I get the same or 2003 4.0 are there any issues I should address?
 
same work as an explorer 5.0,bolt in plug in,tow to ford reset pats.you could use the 3.0 pcm to get you to ford.instead of tow or just run the 3.0 pcm
