1995 ranger alarm wont stfu

ok i got in my unlocked ranger and turned the key and all of a sudden the theft bs went off horn would fuken stop i couldnt do anything so i unplugged the battery hoping it would drain power and i plugged it back in and its still going off any help?

How long did you leave it unplugged for?

Try leaving the battery unplugged for an bour or so.

I have no idea whats up with that but you can unplug the horn.... that will at least get you on the road without that horn blowing.

Put in the correct key?

If it continues to malfunction take it to a dealer trained in dealing with the alarms.

yeah its the right key, i cant start it because the ignition is disabled, is that factory? becuase i know the previous owner put some kinda of ignition disabler on it, its a key that slides into a slot under the steering wheel if its gone it wont start but it should be fine...i left it unplugged for a couple hours
