is this all i need? 1990 ranger?

thats not a body lift, it is a add a leaf with coil spacers. every thing is there for that .

oh... are they hard to install? does it perform/ look any different from a body lift?

-thanks

Abody lift moves the body away from the frame, but keeps the axles and frame at the same height from the ground. It just a spacer between body and frame.

A suspension lift moves the axles further away from the frame, essentially lowering the axles, while raising the truck.

A body lift will let you fit bigger tires, but will not help any with clearance(other than from the bigger tires)

A suspension lift will let you fit bigger tires, and give you more clearance.

Body lifts are usually easier to install, but the coil spacers and add a leaf are not any more difficult than a body lift. A 'real' suspension lift includes drop bracketry and extended radius arms, bigger coils etc. and are 'harder' to do than body lifts.

cutting and turning the beams is better than a 'real lift', so a lift doesn't necessarily have to have drop down brackets, but in order to obtain more travel you do need extended radius arms, im not disagreeing with what your saying just think it needs to be altered.
